"Communities all over the country are embarking on trail projects, and many of them reach out to IMBA and Trail Solutions for help. My role is dedicated to guiding them through the process— connecting them with resources and helping them break through barriers to get those projects going as quickly as possible."

For me, mountain biking is so much more than the feeling of ripping through a trail, crushing a climb, or coming through the finish line. It’s the moment when you leave all the stress behind and regardless of what’s happening in the world…out on the trail everything is perfect.

Amazing things rarely happen when staying in our comfort zone.

I love working with an organization and people dedicated to outdoor mental and physical health. I’m learning so much about mountain biking and the passion is contagious!

"My first mountain bike experience was on a borrowed hybrid bicycle on steep river bluff trails in Nebraska. Stretching the limits of center-pull brakes and 35c tires, I was hooked! Mountain biking has since provided me with the most amazing life experiences as a rider, advocate, trail builder, promoter, retailer, coach and racer. I want my work to follow my passions, and at the very same time I get to work beside some of my best friends. That’s such a gift to have both of these things every day that I walk into the office.

There's nothing quite like the feeling of looking at the faces and talking with people who've just finished riding a trail you put the work in to make it a reality.

I work for IMBA because of the positive change that our staff, members and partners make in communities across the country. Our work creates great places to ride mountain bikes. Local kids, families, business and visitors benefit from that, and I do, too!
