 I love mountain biking because it takes me new places and makes me new friends along the way.

I feel very fortunate to be able to ride my bike. It feels like an extension of myself — allowing me to experience places at the perfect speed and challenging me in the best ways. My hope is to help others find similar joy in pedaling these beautiful two-wheeled machines.

Whether you just recently found trails, or you've been riding and digging for a long time, I think we all have a responsibility to the trails and to our communities. I'm happy to work at helping communities build and grow!

Trails allow us to experience a place in so many ways, they offer a space to test our skills and endurance, allow us to quiet our minds and find solitude, to seek adventures off the beaten path, or just have fun connecting with friends and family after work or school. They tie us to our communities and the natural world.

A long time ago, I read, "believe you can & you're halfway there." That 100% applies to all areas of life, especially mountain biking. Whether it's looking forward on the trail, positive self-talk, or seeing the big picture of a trail project, believing is pivotal to success on and off the trail.

Lea is a Michigan native who has gained her love for cycling pedaling throughout the streets of Detroit on a beat-up commuter. Upon moving to the west cost she began riding trail, she continues to learn and gain expertise with two wheels on the dirt. Located in Salt Lake City, Lea is currently exploring the beauty of diverse trail systems throughout the Southwest. Lea is a passionate environmentalist, and is frequently cleaning up trails, parks, and beaches.
