Rattling Creek EPIC Trail System expansion
Lykens, Pa.
SAMBA’s vision for the expansion would provide access to trails from local towns, connectivity to the Lykens Valley Rail Trail and double current trail mileage by establishing trail connections for future trail development within Weiser State Forest.
The Susquehanna Area Mountain Bike Association is helping to create and expand economic development opportunities for the town of Lykens and surrounding areas by connecting these areas to the Rattling Creek IMBA Epic. This will make the area an attractive destination for mountain bikers with convenient trail access and connectivity that also lays the foundation for further trail development.
Due to some of the remote locations for trail development, SAMBA is raising funds to purchase a machine to accelerate the pace of trail building.
