Walden Ridge Park Trail Construction Phase 1

A Project of SORBA Chattanooga
Chattanooga, TN

$ 12305.00 raised of $ 25000.00

Located less than 10 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, TN; the 200 acre Walden Ridge Park will offer our community 8 to 12 miles of gravity oriented MTB trails with 800 feet of elevation loss, for beginner to expert riders. It will also boast a rock climbing zone and hiking trails.

Yes, there are currently no legal mountain bike trails located on Walden Ridge or in the adjacent communities of Signal Mountian, Red Bank, and Hamilton, TN. This will be Chattanooga's first public bike park. It will also offer recreation opportunities for rock climbers, hikers, and general trail users. This project is made possible through a partnership composed of the North Chickamauga Creek Conservancy (the landowner), The Southeastern Climbers Coalition, SORBA Chattanooga, The Land Trust for Tennessee, and Hamilton County, TN Parks & Rec. After the trails and related facilities are built, the land will be turned over to the county and will be designated a Hamilton County park.
