Club Website About:

AOA is dedicated to providing, maintaining, and promoting access to trails for outdoor recreation in east central Ohio. To accomplish this goal, we have developed partnerships with regional land managers including the Wilds, Dillon State Park, Horn's Hill City Park (Newark), AEP (American Electric Power, Conesville), and McGraw Recreation Area (Muskingum County Parks District). To date, AOA has built and maintains over 50 miles of trails in these areas, making east central Ohio a premiere locale for mountain biking in Ohio. Dillon and the Wilds are our most successful mountain biking venues. Both have high quality trail networks that challenge riders of varying skills. They receive the majority of AOA's volunteer time and monetary contributions.

Appalachia Outdoor Adventures strives to support, develop and participate in physically demanding outdoor activities, such as mountain biking, hiking, climbing/rappelling, cross country skiing, orienteering, paddling and trail running.

Although our levels of skill and intensity of participation range from high to low, we all work hard and play harder ever mindful that in most cases pain is only temporary.
