BOB Trailers

Sutter Equipment

Sutter Equipment also offers competitive leasing programs for trail equipment. There are two types of leases offered:

Lease/Finance: This type of lease is designed so that at the end of the lease term, the Lessee will own the equipment upon payment of $1.00. It also has depreciation advantages.

True Lease: This type of lease will have slightly lower monthly payments than the Lease/Finance option and at the end of the lease term the Lessee has the option of purchasing the equipment, typically

  • Lease amounts range from $10,000 to $250,000
  • Lease terms range from 3 years to 8 years
  • Usual requirements include organizations or businesses to be in existence for a minimum of 2 years, plus first and last month payment

  • A digital level is a useful tool for identifying trail features like tread outslope. Professional trailbuilders use the SmartTool Electronic Level, which is available at Ben Meadows in two sizes: 2-foot for $165 and 4-foot for $204. Both include a soft carrying case.

Rob Lamberton's custom-designed Lamberton rake is similar to a Mcleod. It features a bolt-less handle, so you can use it to check the slope of your trail tread, and it comes with your choice of wooden or fiberglass handle. Also, it is very reasonably priced.
