Support Mountain Biking

IMBA Local member organizations are member-based groups focused on trails, access, rides and social events on close-to-home trails. IMBA works with IMBA Local partners to support and enhance trail building, advocacy and organizational efforts.

IMBA’s vision is to build the quality and quantity of mountain biking communities by supporting and empowering local leadership. We want to help communities build a base of knowledgeable and capable advocates and stewards.

How can you help? Support your nearest chapter, or more than one if you like – individuals can have up to 10 chapter memberships. It's an easy and rewarding way to support the team that knows your local trails.

Team Dirt

If you ride in the Corvallis area, you have ridden on trails that Team Dirt built and maintains.

We've built several new trails in the McDonald Forest in partnership with the OSU College of Forestry, including No Secret, Secret's Out, Playtime and Bonzai.  In the neighboring Starker Forest, we've rerouted the Southridge trail in the past year.

We maintain the Alsea Falls trail system in a cooperative agreement with the BLM.  We've just reopened Chutes and Boulders and have made numerous improvements to the other trails in the system including gravel fill to mitigate the mud on Springboard.  We run big shuttle events there twice a year and have recently obtained a new "Huckwagon" bike trailer for those shuttle days.

We do volunteer build days twice monthly both at McDonald/Starker and Alsea with shuttles afterwards and we host Mountain Bike Mondaze on the first Monday of each month at Block 15 Taproom.

In addition to all the great discounts through IMBA, Team Dirt members get discounts at local bike shops Peak Sports and Bike N Hike.

Your membership support contributes directly to trail stewardship and advocacy here in Corvalls.
