Pine Knob Mountain Bike Park is the Ozark Off Road Cyclists’ (OORC) response to community demand for less intimidating beginner and, for those looking to advance their skills, rad jumps, exciting features, and progressive trails.

Pine Knob will be a shared use park that provides access to a wooded city park within the city of Russellville, Arkansas. This park is located near a low-income residential district of Russellville. Currently this city park is unmaintained, and the Pine Knob project will revitalize the park and provide the area residents with access to recreation that is close to home. In addition to mountain biking, this park will encourage the local community to visit the park via the walk-in access point to experience a scenic vista view of the city, enjoy casual walking paths among the large pine trees, and allow visitors a place to relax and embrace nature. To enhance the overall experience of the park, the signs will help guide visitors throughout the park.

The Dig in grant will provide much needed financial support for the park main entrance sign, trail signs and construction materials.
