Breathing Life Back into Legacy Trails In Central Wisconsin

In 2020, the Central Wisconsin Offroad Cycling Coalition (CWOCC), the local IMBA chapter is embarking on an extensive trail improvement project at Nine Mile County Forest Recreation Area, Central Wisconsin's legacy trail system for over 25 years.
Funding will be utilized to hire a professional mountain bike trail contractor to design and build more inclusive mountain bike trails at Nine Mile County Forest Recreation Area. The project will bring the Nine Mile mountain bike trail system into the 21st century, by featuring more accessible and inclusive mountain bike trails for all to enjoy. Newly built and improvements to existing trail corridors will feature more machine-built flow trail that is suitable for riders of all ages and abilities. Construction is already underway in summer 2020 for phase one of the project and the feedback from local riders has been tremendous. CWOCC is excited to breathe some new life into one of our beloved mountain bike trail systems.
