IMBA Singletrack Society Fall Gathering - Chattanooga, TN, October 25-27, 2024

Please join IMBA leaders and fellow Singletrack Society members in Chattanooga, TN, one of the most iconic mountain bike destinations in the country, October 25-27, 2024. You’ll enjoy incredible riding and hear about how new trail systems in the area have come to fruition with IMBA’s support and outstanding local leadership. We’ll ride Racoon Mountain, Lula Lake, Durham Mine, and the awesome new trails at Waldens Ridge Park, completed in 2024 by IMBA Trail Solutions. You don’t want to miss this event! The event starts at 6:30 pm on Friday October 25. Optional rides will be available for those arriving a day or two early.

Friday October 25 6:30 pm - Fall 2024 Singletrack Society Hospitality!

  • Join us for drinks, dinner, and socializing with Singletrack Society members, IMBA staff, board members and local trail advocates. 
  • Naked River Brewing, 1791 Reggie White Boulevard, Chattanooga, TN 

Saturday October 26, 8:30 am - shuttles leave from downtown

  • Check out some of the great breakfast diners and coffee shops in town to get fuelled up for the morning.
  • Meet at 212 West 8th Street, outside 423 Taco and divide into groups led by experienced local guides offering rides for all abilities and riding styles. 
  • Group lunch then ride again in the afternoon or we can shuttle you back to town.

Saturday October 26, 6:30 pm - Singletrack Society Celebration Dinner!

  • Dinner and fun conversation about the day, mountain biking, and the IMBA mission will be at E-Z Bistro. We look forward to a wonderful time together! 

Sunday October 27, 8:30 am - More Riding!

  • Meet at 212 West 8th Street, outside 423 Taco and divide into groups led by experienced local guides offering rides for all abilities and riding styles. We’ll ride for the morning before hearing some closing comments from Dave Wiens around 12:30 p.m
  • Leisurely lunch and another ride with anyone staying around for the afternoon.

Please note:

  • For accommodations, there are many options to choose from including AirB&B, hotels, and campgrounds. We’ll be based in downtown Chattanooga, just a block off Broad Street, so we suggest booking accommodations in that district. 
  • For hotels, we recommend Hotel Indigo, who are offering a preferred room rate, please use this link to make your reservation
  • If you’re planning on camping, checkout some great ideas here.
  • We recommend booking accommodations early, as fall in this region can be very busy.
  • For rental bikes, we recommend Rock Creek Outfitters, who rent bikes from their Riverside Drive store, close to downtown
  • If you’re flying in for the weekend, Chattanooga Airport is a 20-minute drive to downtown 
  • Weather can be variable. For riding, we suggest regular riding attire including sunscreen, a light rain jacket and a pack for water and snacks. The evening gatherings will be held indoors and/or on a heated patio. We suggest bringing a sweater or jacket too.
