2004 IMBA Summit, Washington, D.C. On June 4-8, 2004, IMBA hosted one of the most important mountain biking advocacy gatherings ever in Washington, D.C. The 2004 IMBA Mountain Bike Advocacy Summit featured informative seminars, awesome riding, parties, celebrity guest speakers and a chance to interact with other mountain bikers. Attendees spent a day in Washington, D.C., meeting members of Congress and their staffs to introduce them to IMBA and build awareness of our key issues. By assembling a dynamic group of trail leaders for four days of workshops, panel discussions and brainstorming, IMBA inspired advocacy that will produce better mountain biking opportunities worldwide. Special thanks to photographer Bob Allen for attending the summit and shooting these photos. For more of Bob's work, visit www.montanabob.com. Click on the first photo to start the slide show. |
