IMBA's most successful affiliated clubs document their trailwork days and quantify their in-kind volunteer services. Land managers, elected officials and other community groups are impressed by in-kind donations. Being able to tell your Department of Natural Resources or State Parks that your club or statewide organization donated $25,000 worth of trailwork speaks volumes about your commitment to the environment and trails. Some even present fake checks in annual ceremonies and invite the media.
