Bikes Belong Grants
Bikes Belong awarded its first grant to an off-road cycling project at IMBA's 2002 Mountain Bike Advocacy Summit in Moab, Utah. A $10,000 grant went to Jackson Hole Community Pathways for singletrack trails at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. The key to the project's successful grant application was its interconnectivity with a TEA-21 High Priority Project which allows residents and tourists to ride a paved pathway to the 23.3 mile singletrack trail system. Priority is given to organizations that are directly involved in building coalitions for bicycling by collaborating the efforts of bicycle industry and advocacy groups. Bikes Belong review grant applications quarterly. For more information Click Here.
