Six Ways IMBA Can Help Your NPS Unit Today
- Consult Our Website. Want to learn more about mountain bike trails and management? Browse imba.com for a wealth of resources on everything from our Rules of the Trail to how to manage bikes on roads and trails to pages on successful relationships with other prominent federal land agencies.
- Request a Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew Visit. Our traveling trail experts are available for anything from an afternoon to full-blown four-day clinics. Invite them to your park to discuss any trail or mountain biking questions. IMBA will be sending our Trail Care Crews to any NPS unit that requests a visit-not just the two designated pilot projects. View pictures of other visits.
- Utilize Your Local IMBA Representative. IMBA has a nationwide network of more than 70 state representatives. These volunteers are well-versed in the IMBA mission and can help you tap into a volunteer network and understand the needs of local cyclists. Find your IMBA Rep.
- Contact Your Local IMBA Club. With more than 550 affiliate clubs, one is probably near your park. Share ideas and concerns, go on a ride or hike, or invite officers to a meeting. They'll be excited to work with you in constructing a collaborative relationship. Find a local club.
- Call Us. Feel free to give IMBA a call at 1-888-442-4622. We can also put you in touch with other land managers to learn how they manage bikes.
- Visit IMBA's NPS Resource Page. IMBA designed a specific NPS area of our website for NPS Resources. Read a copy of the MOU and learn about all of IMBA's programs and services.
