Green River Lake

Campbellsville, Kentucky
  • Consulted on long range plan for a new system of shared-use trails.
  • Taught an IMBA Trailbuilding School to 15 local volunteers.
  • Designed 2,500 feet and built 200 feet of new trail with local volunteers.
  • Featured on Army Radio Station.
  • When complete, the system will include 6-8 miles of trails with the potential for much more on the sitešs 20,000 acres.

Hensley Lake

Raymond, California
  • Taught an IMBA Trailbuilding School.
  • Reclaimed a section of eroded trail and constructed a 250-foot re-route along the contour through native oaks and manzanita.
  • When complete, the system will include 25 miles, encircling the entire lake.

Pine Flat Lake

Piedra, California
  • Designed 4 miles of trail, the first specifically designed for mountain biking at Pine Flat Lake.
  • Taught an IMBA Trailbuilding School.
  • Built 3,000 feet of new trail with Corps staff and 25 volunteers.
  • Facilitated partnership between the local bike club in Fresno and the Corps.
  • When complete, the system will include 30 miles of trail.

Bass Lake

Bass Lake, California
  • Trained 100 Sacramento District rangers in sustainable trailbuilding techniques.

Lake Abiquiu

Abiquiu, New Mexico
  • Assessed existing and potential trails.
  • Taught an IMBA Trailbuilding School.
  • When complete, the trail system will be 40 miles.

New Hogan Lake

Valley Springs, California
  • Trained 20 volunteers in sustainable trailbuilding.
  • Taught an IMBA Trailbuilding School.
  • Designed 2 miles of new trail.
  • Led trailwork with 20 volunteers to maintain existing trail with knicks and rolling grade dips.

Lake Shelbyville

Shelbyville, Illinois
  • Assessed 3 miles of existing trail, which will eventually be extended to 20 miles along the lake shore.
  • Taught an IMBA Trailbuilding School to 18 trail enthusiasts.
  • Assessed proposed 3-4 mile novice/beginner/fitness trail.
  • Proposed singletrack loops off of the proposed fitness trail to satisfy a diverse trail user community.

Alum Creek State Park

Columbus, Ohio
  • Partnered with the Central Ohio Mountain Biking Organization on the second phase of the trail system at Alum Creek State Park.
  • Designed 2,000 feet of trail.
  • Taught an IMBA Trailbuilding School to 15 trail leaders.
  • Led 20 volunteers in the construction of 1,500 feet of new trail.
  • When complete, trail system will include 15 miles of shared-use trail.
