Protect Your Favorite Ride
A limited edition T-shirt is available FREE, but only for donors to the Trail Access Fund.
Mountain bikers face daunting trail closures right now.
Hundreds of miles of trails could close this year in Arizona, California, Colorado, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Washington, Virginia... to name just a few states.
Even trails in some of the destinations that are core to our sport are threatened — places like Moab, UT.
But there is also great potential — IMBA has an unprecedented opportunity to reopen a bounty of trails, including some on Mt Tamalpais, CA, one of the birthplaces of mountain biking.
And that's why we need your donation to the Trail Access Fund today.
Give now and we'll send you a Protect and Ride T-shirt FREE with your gift of $35 or more.
All across the country IMBA's professional trail advocates and volunteers from IMBA chapters and clubs are working with land agencies to protect sustainable trails and open new ones.
That's good news for you because even seemingly far-away decisions can jeopardize your right to ride to your local trails.
Help riders everywhere with a gift of $25, $75, $100 or more.
You certainly won't be alone. In a massive groundswell of support — IMBA’s Board of Directors has committed to raise $25,000 of our goal.
And 40 outdoor and bike companies like SRAM, Trek and Specialized have also made contributions. Why? To help IMBA keep the trails you ride open.
We will leverage your generous gift with support from these industry partners to improve access for riders all over the map.
We'll turn your support into success — tangible success like those we achieved last year:
- Our Lake Tahoe, CA conference brought freeriders together with California's forest service officials to cooperate on sustainable gravity trails. Negotiations also helped protect access to Lake Tahoe icons like Mr Toad's trail and the Flume Trail.
- We protected and even reopened Colorado trails in bills currently before U.S. Congress.
- IMBA gathered a record 6,000 comments supporting a National Park Service rule change that could allow for more mountain biking opportunities in America’s most scenic parks. We are now a far step further in advancing bicycling opportunities in National Parks.
Won't you join our 80,000 strong mountain bike movement? Make your gift of $25, $75, $100 or more today. Put IMBA to work protecting the trails you love to ride.
Thanks in advance for keeping our precious trails free,
