EMBA Workday – National Trails Day June 7, 2014
Plan to join us Saturday June 7, 2014 weather permitting. We will be combining our work day with National Trails Day at The Aska Adventure area trails. We will be finishing the carpentry work on the kiosk, trash pick up and some trail tread work if there are enough volunteers at the Flat Creek/Stanley/Deep Gap Trailhead* on Aska Road in Blue Ridge at 9am. Remember to bring water, any food or snacks for yourself. You will need to dress appropriately, long pants, boots or full coverage shoes, long sleeve shirt, work gloves. The poison ivy is starting to bloom. Also bring insect repellent, sun screen and if your allergic to stings bring your Epipen. We will have Hard hats and tools on hand. EMBA will be resuming our monthly work days on the 3rd Saturday of the month starting in July. See you soon.
