IMBA Active on Oregon’s Rogue Wilderness Draft Proposal
Oregon Wild’s Rogue Wilderness proposal on BLM land in southern Oregon is aimed to protect beautiful Pacific Coast hardwood forests from logging and preserve the vibrant recreation economy in this area. At this time the Rogue Wilderness does not affect any local mountain bike access, thus IMBA is inclined to support its passage. The thriving outdoor recreation economy in this area is dependent on the continued protection of the wild life and serenity of the land in this proposal. As stewards of the public lands we love it is important that mountain bicyclists sign on our support for protection that preserve these wild areas for other forms of recreation and for the enjoyment of future generations.
