Aid IMBA’s Efforts to Protect Trail Access in Snow Mountain California
IMBA is currently in negotiations with the California Wilderness Coalition who is proposing changes to the Snow Mountain Berryesa National Conservation Area. U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson (D) is preparing a bill that would include an expansion of the Snow Mountain Berryessa National Conservation Area. U.S. Cong. Thompson is a dear friend to cyclists both on road and off. He has helped IMBA California build 40 miles of new trail in the King Range of Northern California. The trails and environment in this area are currently protected under a companion designation, a National Conservation Area.
