Join IMBA and the League of American Bicyclists for the National Bike Summit in Washington, D.C. This is an important year for mountain bikers to attend, with many new congressional leaders (and their staffs) that need to hear about our concerns. You'll stand shoulder-to-shoulder with mountain bike leaders, retailers, chapter/club advocates and other leading voices as we unite for three powerful days in Washington, D.C.
IMBA offers attendees everything they need to make our case, including mountain bike-specific sessions, special trainings and great networking at the IMBA delegates dinner.
Early-bird rates end on Thursday (Feb 3). Be sure to use the code "IMBA11" if you're planning on joining the IMBA lobbying effort.
"With so many new members of Congress, it's more important than ever to show them the human face of mountain biking," says IMBA Government Affairs Director Jenn Dice. "In 2011, mountain bikers have a golden opportunity to protect more land, influence public lands bills, find funding for trails and forge new relationships."
