IMBA's Trail Solutions program is happy to announce the addition of Chris Leman and Randy Spangler to its talented staff of Trail Specialists. A fee-based trail consulting program, Trail Solutions offers services that range from planning, design, and construction to trail management, education and volunteer teamwork.
Chris Leman has a long career in mountain bike advocacy and trail building, particularly on the highly regarded trails near Sun Valley, Idaho. With experience spanning from trail network design to managing the construction of bike parks, he recently traveled to northern Pennsylvania to work with other IMBA staff on the Jakes Rocks trail plan, and is currently leading a large-scale trail planning effort for the Bureau of Land Management near Twin Falls, Idaho.
Randy Spangler's status as a mountain biker is legendary, but not everyone realizes that his building skills equal his riding chops. His previous work includes a large number of community and resort bike parks, including Valmont Bike Park, Tolkan Campground Skills Park and the trails at the Seven Springs resort. He is currently contributing to two flow trail projects in the Sun Valley area: Punchline Trail in Croy Canyon and Forbidden Fruit in the Ketchum Ranger District.
IMBA is privileged to welcome these two passionate professionals to its ranks of master trail builders.
