Headed to the Sea Otter Classic next week? Stop by the IMBA booth (#235) and check out our great giveaways and membership offers. For example, when you register for our free e-newsletters you'll be entered to win a trip to Moab. courtesy of Trek Travel. Everyone that joins or renews their IMBA membership at Sea Otter will receive free tires or tubes from CST Tires, a copy of Switchback magazine, a box of CLIF Bar Crunch and an IMBA seat bag to stow all your goodies (while supplies last).

Don't miss a fun event on Saturday (4 PM) as IMBA and our long time partner CLIF Bar celebrate 20 years of success with a bigger-than-ever party and jam session at the booth, featuring a band, limited-edition pint glasses and an all-around good time.

New and renewing members will also be entered to win a DiamondBack Sortie, custom built with SRAM components and a bomb-proof DT Swiss wheelset. Other prizes include a his and hers Cyrptic mountain bike kit from The North Face. TNF will also be selling the incredibly popular "chainring" t-shirts as a fundraiser for IMBA's Trail Access Fund. Also, Club Ride will be offering sweet IMBA-branded western shirts at a Sea Otter-only discount.

Be sure to check out the new Anthill Films premier Strength in Numbers. The feature-length film will be showing at the Steinbeck Forum at the Monterey Conference Center on Friday evening, with early and late screenings. Click the link for details — and look for an upcoming offer that will allow IMBA chapters and clubs to hold fundraiser screenings in the weeks ahead.

Other Sea Otter action includes:

  • Scavenger hunt with prizes from IMBA and partners including Yakima
  • Daily chance to win CamelBak hydration pack with donation to Trail Access Fund
  • Sign our petition to support the proclamation of Ft. Ord (home of Sea Otter Classic) as a National Monument, ensuring future access for bicycle recreation.
