The International Mountain Bicycling Association is now accepting submissions of original works of art for a juried display during the IMBA World Summit, hosted in Santa Fe, NM. The MTB Community Art Celebration will take place Thursday evening, Oct. 11, with more than 200 people expected to be in attendance. Held in conjunction with the summit Poster Session, the event should be both educational and motivational.

Submissions are being accepted now through September 16.

IMBA hopes the evening will inspire summit attendees with beautiful and creative renditions of unique trail systems from across the U.S. and around the world, riding adventures, the equipment we use and love and all other aspects of the sport that draw us in.

Each individual may submit no more than two original works of art having to do with "all things mountain biking," such as: trail building, epic rides, spectacular crashes, scenic landscapes, bike geekery and rider passion. To be considered, please email low resolution images and/or photos of paintings, illustrations or sketches to katherine [dot] fuller [at] imba [dot] com (Katherine Fuller). IMBA will only be able to display two-dimensional pieces, so please do not submit photos of sculptures. Please ensure that the original file is no less than 1 MB, or it will not print well. The higher the quality, the better.

Winners will be notified of their selection by September 20, at which time arrangements will be made to have high resolution images submitted for single reproduction (11"x14" gallery enlargement) at no cost to artist. Each artist will receive recognition next to their work and will retain all copyright. The art will not be offered for sale, but IMBA will provide a space for business cards that interested individuals may pick up.
