IMBA and long standing corporate member FOX are pleased to announce the 2013 IMBA/FOX Bike Park and Pump Track Grants to support projects initiated by IMBA clubs and chapters.
Grants in the range of $500 to $1000 will be awarded to IMBA-affiliated clubs that meet the project criteria. Projects must be located in the United States. The application deadline is May 30.
"The grant program is all about providing more opportunities to ride bikes. Sometimes bike park and pump track projects just need a little help to get started and we are hoping to provide that push,” says FOX Global Marketing Communications Manager, Mark Jordan.
“Grants like this are great to stimulate and fuel new bike parks. Pump tracks are relatively inexpensive facilities that don’t require a lot of public land. They offer a great community resource to help get more kids and families outside riding bikes,” said IMBA Development Director, Rich Cook.
IMBA, the largest mountain bike advocacy organization in the world, has over 110 affiliated chapters and 600 clubs in all 50 states, and in seven countries. Support from FOX Racing Shox, and thousands of other members has helped IMBA foster relationships with government land managers and local communities to create, enhance and preserve great trail experiences for mountain bikers.
