2014 IMBA World Summit Speaker / Topic RFP

Attention storytellers, thought leaders, inspirational speakers, and content experts!

We are now accepting proposals for speakers and topics for the 2014 World Summit.

  • Keynote speeches
  • Plenary addresses
  • Breakout sessions and interactive workshops
  • TEDx-inspired presentations

This year will see two, distinct 1-day conferences — the first geared specifically to our Chapters (Thu) and the second to all attendees (Fri):

IMBA 2.0: A Day Dedicated to Chapters
Destination Dirt: Investments and Payoffs in MTB Tourism

You're invited to submit proposals for either day/audience; our conference content committee will be reviewing all proposals and placing speakers/topics where best appropriate. Note: the above themes are just a framework — content does not have to directly address this specific subject matter in order to be considered, though we're hoping to have broad coverage approaching the suggested themes as a starting point.

Proposals submitted on or before March 1 will receive priority consideration.

All speakers will be required to register for the 2014 IMBA World Summit. Those selected to partricipate will be eligible to enroll at a 50% savings.

Important Note

We reserve the right to record (video and/or audio) all presentations and make them available to the general public online at, now or in the future, with no additional compensation. (Required per our supporting agreement with the Federal Highway Administration.)

Thank you in advance for your interest. A conference, such as the IMBA World Summit, is only as strong as its content– and subsequently is largely judged based on the speakers. We are confident that our extended, global community of content experts and thought leaders will provide a highly fulfilling experience for our delegates in Steamboat Springs this summer.
