Risk Management

1) The trail must be developed and maintained in a manner that is consistent with accepted risk management guidelines. It should not hazardous and or imperil users.

2) Optional features that are not obviously more difficult should be marked as such.

3) A defined risk management plan is recommended. This includes, but is not limited to: regular inspection and maintenance, a sign plan (including updates when trail changes are made), and an evacuation plan for injured visitors.
