Michelob Ultra Crested Butte Bike Week presented by Alpine OrthopaedicsEvery week is Bike Week in Crested Butte! After all, this is one of the birthplaces of mountain biking, home to the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame and some of the best riding on the planet. This year it happens June 23-26 and we renamed the festival from Fat Tire Bike Week to “Crested Butte Bike Week” as we strive to fill people in on biking’s epicenter, where riders, friends and families gather each summer to celebrate all things bike. During CBBW, Mountain States Cup holds its Downhill, Super D, Four-cross and Cross Country races, including the epic Clif Bar Fat Tire 40 endurance race; 24-Hour townie fundraisers take over the streets; there is a big concert featuring a national recording artist, and then there’s the cult classic Chainless Race, the “Cannonball Run” of bike events. Races and rallies are complemented with skills clinics and companies showcasing and demoing their latest gear, so you can scope the latest technology while riding world-class singletrack! Check us out on Facebook!
