Please join us for a special invitation-only get-together of select leaders, friends, associates, IMBA staff and board members who see a future in which mountain bike trails are an irresistible asset for communities nationwide. 

We'll gather at Slate Valley Trails and the property of IMBA supporters Alexi and Steve Conine in Poultney, VT from June 27th-29th. Slate Valley Trails was established in 2015 and currently offers 60 miles of multi-use singletrack, with the goals to build community among local individuals, organizations and businesses; support the local economy; and encourage the positive health benefits of being active outdoors. IMBA's focus is on developing more trails close to home, and we see the Slate Valley trails as a vibrant, community-centric model of this type of trail development.

We'll ride with local guides, share great food, and engage in thoughtful, facilitated discussions, where IMBA’s most committed thought leaders can discuss a long-range, national vision for trails and the opportunities to make personal impacts. Collectively, this leadership group will help pioneer something powerful - a quiet force behind Trail Champions everywhere and the development of 250 new trail towns with more trails close to home by 2025. Rides, discussions, and hospitality will be based on the Conine's property - the Barns at Endless Brook, on VT Route 30 in Poultney. The schedule will be:

Tuesday, June 27th - introductions, afternoon ride on the Slate Valley Trails, then dinner and opening discussions.

Wednesday June 28th - a morning ride on the Slate Valley Trails, catered lunch, afternoon ride, then dinner and evening discussions.

Thursday June 29th - morning ride for those who chose to stay.

We will distribute a detailed itinerary to registrants closer to the event. Logistics will be simplified this year, including some great new lodging options in close proximity to the trails. Please expect more details in the coming weeks. Please feel free to get in touch with any questions.
