IMBA Trail Accelerator Grant webinar September 23rd, 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time

This webinar will offer an overview of the IMBA Trail Accelerator Grant program, including a discussion on the matching funds requirement and what makes a successful proposal, including examples from previous grant rounds. Webinar registration is encouraged from land managers and recreation planners from city, county, state, and federal agencies, land trust staff, economic development/chamber of commerce staff, and community health professionals. Staff and volunteer members from mountain bike clubs are welcome to participate and partner on a proposal, although proposals must be submitted by an agency such as those listed above. Making sure everyone has access to great places to ride is IMBA's vision. Our goal is to increase the quantity and quality of trail communities through accelerating the pace of trail building. Many communities have the interest and political support to develop mountain bike facilities and trail systems but lack funding and knowledge to jump-start efforts - we see the Trail Accelerator Grant program as an opportunity to address that. Previous Trail Accelerator Grant cycles have focused on the U.S central states and we are pleased to announce that the program is now open nationwide, with the next application period running from September 2nd until October 15th, 2019.
