This course has been rescheduled from May. A demonstration of cutting-edge trailbuilding techniques and best-management practices for developing high quality mountain bike trails, from flow to gnar. Classroom session in the morning, followed by a tour of active trailbuilding sites that showcase a variety of trail types and construction techniques, including working with rock.
This course presents an advanced demonstration of cutting-edge trailbuilding techniques and best-management practices for developing high-quality mountain bike trails, from flow to gnar. This course includes a classroom session in the morning, followed by a riding tour of the Coldwater trail system that showcases a variety of trail types and construction techniques in the afternoon.
Location: 905 Noble Street, Anniston, Alabama and the Coldwater Mountain Bike Trails
Cost - $425
Dates - Fri-Sat October 25th and 26th.

Pre-requisites - Sustainable Trails 101, or an a equivalent course taught by the IMBA TCC, Georgia Trails Education Specialist, other PTBA instructor, or permission from the instructor.
Preparation-Please come prepared to ride as this is the best way to experience the bike optimized design and features. Please bring clothing and gear suitable for riding and trail construction in the fall. Weather can be cool and rain is possible, as is sticky heat.
Friday afternoon will be a riding tour of the project--think of it as an easy group ride with long stops at illustrative points.
Saturday we may ride to the rock feature work sites, so bring a pack large enough to carry your construction gear and lunch.
