Are you interested in becoming a patrol instructor? If so, the NMBP has a dedicated certification program that gives prospective instructors the training they need to teach mountain bikers the basics of volunteering as patrollers and ambassadors. This seminar is also intended to recertify existing NMBP instructors.

Over the past few years, our program has grown in many ways. We've implemented the new red and white color scheme, improved our training materials and manuals, released a promotional DVD, introduced an online volunteer hours log and an online certification exam. The one area lagging behind is our instructor certification program. Due to the expense and manpower required to host in-person training conferences, we are now using a webinar system to certify instructors. A webinar is a combination of a conference call and a PowerPoint presentation that allows people to hold a virtual "meeting."

The webinar will be held at 4 PM Mountain Time on June 22, 2010. All participants must be current NMBP members. Please refer to our website for further information.
