In an ongoing effort to improve and expand the the mountain biking oppotunities in Virgina, Charlottesville Area Mountain Bike Club (CAMBC) and the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA) have teamed up through IMBA's Chapter Program. CAMBC is planning trails at Biscuit Run, the new VA state park in Charlottesville and a pump track in Azalea Park. We are finishing an advanced mountain-bike only loop at Preddy Creek County Park, where a four-mile beginner-intermediate loop is open. CAMBC is planning trails at Patricia Byrom Park in Whitehall, VA and we maintain Rivanna Trail, Walnut Creek Park, plus trails in the George Washington National Park including Sherando and Whetstone Ridge.
Join IMBA and CAMBC to become part of the team of trail users working to improve the experience on trails close to home. Your support is critical in helping CAMBC and IMBA work with local land managers, demonstrating that we will continue to build and maintain sustainable trails AND be responsible trail users. As a CAMBC-IMBA member, you will receive special regional newsletters, invitations to monthly meetings and many other social events throughout the year. Most importantly, you will be helping us develop future trail opportunities and improve our current local trails. Join today and ride with us tomorrow!
