In an ongoing effort to improve and expand the shared singletrack trail network available in Iowa, Central Iowa Trail Association (CITA) and the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA) have teamed up through IMBA's Chapter Program. CITA was established in 1996 to educate Iowans on the value of sustainable, shared singletrack.  CITA is a volunteer led association and our capacity is defined largely by our members – individuals and organizations who want to create quality outdoor experiences.    CITA and IMBA continue to work with city, state and federal (Army Corp) land managers to create opportunities for new singletrack in your area and ensure the sustainability of existing singletrack.  Potential exists from Creston to Boone and Coon Rapids; as well as the many opportunities within the Des Moines metro area.
Join IMBA and CITA to become part of the team of trail users working to improve the experience on trails close to home.  Your support is critical in helping CITA and IMBA work with local land managers, demonstrating that we will continue to build and maintain sustainable trails AND be responsible trail users.  As a CITA-IMBA member, you will receive special regional newsletters, invitations to monthly meetings and many other social events throughout the year.  Most importantly, you will be helping us develop future trail opportunities and improve our current local trails.  Join today and ride with us tomorrow!

The Santa Fe Fat Tire Society is dedicated to preserving and improving the mountain bike scene in Northern New Mexico.  We are currently working with the New Mexico Wilderness Alliance to make sure that a proposed expansion to the Pecos Wilderness does not include any mountain bike trails.  We have also adopted the Winsor Trail in the Santa Fe National Forest and are working to maintain other trails around Santa Fe.  Watch for our full schedule of trail work days.  We are also working with the Forest Service and BLM to expand existing trail networks.  And of course we like to have fun on our bikes.
