In an ongoing effort to improve and expand the mountain biking opportunities in Pennsylvania, the Susquehanna Area Mountain Bike Association (SAMBA) and the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) have teamed up through IMBA's Chapter Program. SAMBA joins IMBA as a chapter to provide a strong mountain biking advocacy program to the community.
SAMBA is excited by the chance to have an impact beyond Swatara, Camp Mack and Governor Dick. We look forward to helping out on the Rattling Creek trails and also will be partnering with YAMBA to improve the riding opportunities at Gifford Pinchot State Park. We also look to do more social rides and events in addition to the important trail work projects. 2013 will be a year to focus on building a strong club, but we look forward to having your input on how we can help make the Harrisburg area a great place to ride!
Join IMBA and SAMBA to become part of the team of trail users working to improve the experience on trails close to home. Your support is critical in helping SAMBA and IMBA work with local land managers, demonstrating that we will continue to build and maintain sustainable trails AND be responsible trail users. As an SAMBA-IMBA member, you will receive special regional newsletters, invitations to monthly meetings, and many other social events throughout the year. Most importantly, you will be helping us develop future trail opportunities and improve our current local trails. Join today and ride with us tomorrow!
