In an ongoing effort to improve and expand the mountain biking opportunities in Kentucky, the Southwest Kentucky Mountain Bike Association (SWKyMBA) and the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) have teamed up through IMBA's Chapter Program. SWKyMBA joins IMBA as a chapter to provide a strong mountain biking advocacy program to the community.
High quality, well maintained trails are growing in your region of Kentucky. So far we have received a final rule that establishes a special regulation for bicycle use on designated trails at Mammoth Cave National Park, a world class professional built trail in Owensboro, single-track in downtown Bowling Green, and a trail system at Nolin Lake State Park. Join us and let’s make Kentucky a riding destination. Look for upcoming Southwest KyMBA-IMBA trail workdays and events!
Join IMBA and SWKyMBA to become part of the team of trail users working to improve the experience on trails close to home. Your support is critical in helping SWKyMBA and IMBA work with local land managers, demonstrating that we will continue to build and maintain sustainable trails AND be responsible trail users. As an SWKyMBA-IMBA member, you will receive special regional newsletters, invitations to monthly meetings, and many other social events throughout the year. Most importantly, you will be helping us develop future trail opportunities and improve our current local trails. Join today and ride with us tomorrow!
