In an ongoing effort to improve and expand the shared singletrack trail network available in Iowa, Central Iowa Trails Association (CAMBC) and the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA) have teamed up through IMBA's Chapter Program. CAMBC was established in 1996 to educate Iowans on the value of sustainable, shared singletrack.  CAMBC is a volunteer led association and our capacity is defined largely by our members – individuals and organizations who want to create quality outdoor experiences.    CAMBC and IMBA continue to work with city, state and federal (Army Corp) land managers to create opportunities for new singletrack in your area and ensure the sustainability of existing singletrack.  Potential exists from Creston to Boone and Coon Rapids; as well as the many opportunities within the Des Moines metro area.
Join IMBA and CAMBC to become part of the team of trail users working to improve the experience on trails close to home.  Your support is critical in helping CAMBC and IMBA work with local land managers, demonstrating that we will continue to build and maintain sustainable trails AND be responsible trail users.  As a CAMBC-IMBA member, you will receive special regional newsletters, invitations to monthly meetings and many other social events throughout the year.  Most importantly, you will be helping us develop future trail opportunities and improve our current local trails.  Join today and ride with us tomorrow!

In an ongoing effort to improve and expand the mountain biking opportunities in Michigan, the Southwest Michigan Mountain Biking Association (SWMMBA) and the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) have teamed up through IMBA's Chapter Program. SWMMBA was founded in the spring of 1993 as a chapter of the Michigan Mountain Bike Association (MMBA) to develop trails and encourage mountain biking in Southwest Lower Michigan. As an organization, SWMMBA focuses on promoting proper trail development and maintenance, stewardship, advocacy, racing, group rides, and general mountain biking.

SWMMBA acts as the primary trail developer for the Fort Custer State Recreation Area located in Augusta, MI. The Fort Custer Recreation Area currently has 18 miles of dedicated mountain bike trails, with 5 additional miles of multi-use trail. Future goals include increasing both membership and mountain bike trail mileage, working with land managers in partnership to achieve this goal, and building relationships with government and business organizations to inter-connect trail systems in the region.

Join IMBA and SWMMBA to become part of the team of trail users working to improve the experience on trails close to home.  Your support is critical in helping SWMMBA and IMBA work with local land managers, demonstrating that we will continue to build and maintain sustainable trails AND be responsible trail users.  As a SWMMBA-IMBA member, you will receive special regional newsletters, invitations to monthly meetings, and many other social events throughout the year.  Most importantly, you will be helping us develop future trail opportunities and improve our current local trails.  Join today and ride with us tomorrow!
