In an ongoing effort to improve and expand the mountain biking oppotunities in Michigan, the Motor City Mountain Biking Association (MCMBA) and the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) have teamed up through IMBA's Chapter Program. Formerly part of the MetroSouth chapter, MCMBA recognizes the importance of trail advocacy and the hard work of trail building. Now developed into its own organization, today MCMBA makes it their mission to preserve, protect, and promote mountain bike access and diverse riding opportunities on Metropolitan Detriot's public lands. This all needs to happen through education, communication, and unified action that MCMBA can provide. Please join MCMBA in this worthwhile effort. Your membership and participation are critical to efforts in maintaining excellent trails in Southeast Michigan.
Join IMBA and MCMBA to become part of the team of trail users working to improve the experience on trails close to home. Your support is critical in helping IMBA and MCMBA work with local land managers, demonstrating that we will continue to build and maintain sustainable trails AND be responsible trail users. As a IMBA-MCMBA member, you will receive special regional newsletters, invitations to monthly meetings, and many other social events throughout the year. Most importantly, you will be helping us develop future trail opportunities and improve our current local trails. Join today and ride with us tomorrow!
