In an ongoing effort to improve and expand the mountain biking oppotunities in Michigan, the Potawatomi Mountain Bike Association (Poto MBA) and the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA) have teamed up through IMBA's Chapter Program. For over 20 years the Potawatomi Mountain Bike Association has worked to promote, build, maintain and protect the trails in and around Washtenaw County. Now Poto MBA has teamed up with IMBA and their Chapter Program which will allow them to focus efforts on advocacy and trail work while IMBA handle the details. Poto MBA strives to employ the highest standards of sustainable design and build natural surface singletrack trails that are low maintenance and fun to ride. They work closely with State and Local land managers to ensure that the decisions that affect our trails have representation from Chapter members and fellow riders. Whether it’s The Poto, Brighton, Ann Arbor, Ypsi or Canton your support will allow Poto MBA to continue to work hard to keep our trails ready to ride.
Join IMBA and Poto MBA to become part of the team of trail users working to improve the experience on trails close to home. Your support is critical in helping Poto MBA and IMBA work with local land managers, demonstrating that we will continue to build and maintain sustainable trails AND be responsible trail users. As a Poto MBA-IMBA member, you will receive special regional newsletters, invitations to monthly meetings and many other social events throughout the year. Most importantly, you will be helping us develop future trail opportunities and improve our current local trails. Join today and ride with us tomorrow!
