In an ongoing effort to improve and expand the the mountain biking oppotunities in Michigan, Northern Michigan Mountain Biking Association (NMMBA) and the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA) have teamed up through IMBA's Chapter Program. New trail is slated to be built in the Kalkaska, Hartwick Pines, and Antrim County areas thanks to the efforts of the Northern Michigan Mountain Bike Association. We continue to maintain the IMBA epic, High Country Pathway, as well as other northern Michigan trail systems in conjunction with local clubs and associations. The Northern Michigan Mountain Bike Association welcomes you to join us at one of our many trail days, group ride and camp gatherings, or at our annual fundraiser event, the Log Splitter Mountain Bike Challenge.
Join IMBA and NMMBA to become part of the team of trail users working to improve the experience on trails close to home. Your support is critical in helping NMMBA and IMBA work with local land managers, demonstrating that we will continue to build and maintain sustainable trails AND be responsible trail users. As a NMMBA-IMBA member, you will receive special regional newsletters, invitations to monthly meetings and many other social events throughout the year. Most importantly, you will be helping us develop future trail opportunities and improve our current local trails. Join today and ride with us tomorrow!
