King Range Trails - Paradise Royale

Project Number:
BLMT10_04

Mountain bikers, like other trail users, are conservation-minded folks who believe very deeply in stewardship.

Over the last few years IMBA has worked closely with federal agencies to protect and conserve public lands while providing opportunities for recreation.  One great example is the King Range Trail System in Northern California.

Hansen-Larson Memorial Park - Dirk's Draw Trail Construction

Let’s face it - expert riders are underserved in the sport of mountain biking.  At IMBA, we think seriously about planning for the folks who continue to reach the highest levels of the stratosphere.

Fortunately, Rapid City, South Dakota has a lot to offer.  To start, it’s blessed with an outdoor-minded community who embraces trails.  It also has the highest peaks east of the Rockies.  And right downtown one will find Hansen-Larson Memorial Park, a 300-acre oasis with over 10 miles of trails for hikers, trail runners and mountain bikers.
