Working with local trail advocates, economic development partners, and the Allegheny National Forest, IMBA Trail Solutions designed a 35+ mile mountain bicycle trail system with a range of experiences from family-friendly lakeside trails to expert-level gravity zones.
Developed and led two-day bicycle tourism workshop for local businesses and federal land managers seeking to increase bicycle-based visitation. Location was rural community that was transitioning from a resource extraction-based economy to one that was more diverse and included sustainable tourism.

Developed a mountain bicycle trails master plan to create a destination-quality trail system with the intent of generating bicycle-based tourism for the Village of Ruidoso, New Mexico. The plan development involved several tasks, including: stakeholder participation; site inventory; design options and assessment; and the proposal of a destination-quality mountain bicycle trails system that will meet the existing and future needs of residents and visitors to Ruidoso, New Mexico.
