West Georgia Kicks Off Their New Patrol Group
From Patrol Director Wes Allen:
IMBA-SORBA West Georgia is proud to announce its new bike patrol. The patrol was formed in 2013 with only the Patrol Director Wes Allen and has quickly grown to six patrollers, with more expected.
Our patrol group will add to the local community of trails in Cobb, Douglas, and Paulding Counties. These trails are the Allatoona Creek, Mt. Tabor Mountain Bike Park, Clinton Nature Preserve, Boundry Waters, Paulding Meadows, and, the Silver Comet Side Trail.
The patrol group was assembled for the first time at the chapter Bike Rodeo and Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day event on June 7th, 2014.
Most recently, we were patrolling the chapter’s Summer Solstice 5K and 6 hour endurance race.
We would especially like to thank our sponsor, International Freight Forwarders Inc. for their donation and support that helps us support the trails!
