It’s hard to believe that we’re coming up on the one year anniversary of the launch of MTB Project. Since last May we’ve added over 22,000 miles of mountain bike trails and rides covering 49 of the 50 states. In the process we’ve worked with a vast amount of dedicated mountain bikers, trail organizations and land managers.
The big accomplishments certainly shine through, but just like anything, it’s the little things that make the difference. It all leads to MTB Project being the best trail website available. Here a few items to think about the next time you get online and look for your favorite ride.
- Add your trails and rides to MTB Project and then drop into your own website.
The FATRAC chapter in Northern California has a great example of adding MTB Project maps to their site: http://www.fatrac.org/trails
- Get the new and improved mobile app (Get the free app here!)
Download content for an entire area
Remember my last location
Search takes me right to the map
- Let everyone know where you’ve been riding and what current trail conditions are like
Use the MTB Project check-in feature (website and app) to let your riding buddies know about current trail conditions
As spring rolls into summer we’re stoked about the content getting posted on the site. Keep riding and thanks for all of your contributions!
