Friends of Lory

When it rains, it pours!  Since our return to Colorado a couple of weeks ago, it's done nothing but rain.  Such is life and spring in the Rockies...

After a wet weekend in Golden, we continued the trend a few miles further north in Fort Collins.  We were a bit skeptical about trail work as we watched it rain every day leading up to our weekend trail session with Overland Mountain Bike Club.  As you can imagine we were thrilled to wake up to bluebird skies on Saturday morning.  The Friends of Lory Trail Day went off without a hitch and 40+ volunteers showed their support for the trails at Lory State Park.

BIG Thanks to Kory and his family, Rodger, and the rest of Overland Mountain Bike Club for taking care of us.  Thanks to Lory State Park for hosting the land manager workshop.  Thanks to the City of Fort Collins and Larimer County for attending the land manager workshop.  Finally, thanks to all of the volunteers who worked on Saturday!
