Win a Night Riding Light, Welcome New Staff
Renew your NMBP membership before the end of 2011 and be entered to win a MightyCross 300!
Every existing patroller who renews their NMBP membership between now and Jan. 1, 2012, will be entered to win one of five bike lights from Cygolite suitable for night trail riding.
Even if you recently renewed, consider tacking on an extra year to your membership. Not only will we not bother you with a renewal notice next year, but you will be supporting the continued growth and improvement of the program.
The Cygolite MightCross 300 features a single beam with dual-beam brightness. It's featherweight, has six modes of operation and can be mounted to your helmet or handlebars. The LED output is 300 lumens and it only takes four hours to charge the battery.
Five winners will be selected the first week of January, just in time for winter night riding and 24-hour races.

New Field Programs Coordinator taking over managing the National Mountain Bike Patrol
The IMBA Boulder staff has grown by one with the addition of Marty Caivano, who took over managing the NMBP Dec. 5.
Marty joins IMBA after twelve years spent mountain biking every hour of the day that wasn't tied up in other life-sustaining activities. In her former career, she lived behind a camera as a photojournalist, writer and videographer for newspapers and cycling magazines. She's also currently developing a fetish for tool collecting after becoming a bike mechanic, following her visits to the United Bicycle Institute and USA Cycling's race mechanics' clinic.
Marty can be reached at marty [dot] caivano [at] imba [dot] com or 303-545-9011 ext. 101.
Katherine Fuller greatly enjoyed her time coordinating the NMBP and Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crews and passionately believes in the value of both programs. She thanks the patrollers for their hard work and dedication to assisting trail users and improving trail access. Katherine will still be hanging around the IMBA office, but as Communication's Specialist.
