Bikes, Beer and Bonfires! Middleton, WI sure knows the keys to any mountain biker’s heart. There was an abundance of rides and social events this weekend in Middleton as we hung with the CORP Crew (Capital Off-Road Pathfinders) and built some sweet single track out at Middleton Bike Park We polished off the day with over 600 feet of new trail completed and more in the works!
The crew was enthusiastic and willing to put tools in the dirt to reap the reward! Ride, Build, Beer, Ride, Beer, Ride...it doesn’t get much better than that. Middleton WI and CORP sure know how to roll through a weekend. There is great potential to be had out at Middleton Bike Park and we wish the Crew and their volunteers the best of luck in pursuing future trails!
We have several special thanks to send out this week! Dewayne Buratti, we appreciate all of your accommodations! Nelson Donovan and William Lorman, you guys were great hosts! We also want to thank CORP for being awesome, Capital Brewery for the beer on bonfire night, Camrock Café and Sport for an awesome group ride and dinner that included 129 types of beers right at the trailhead, Pleasant View Golf Course for accommodating lunch on Trail building day, Trek for all their constant support and all the wonderful volunteers who came out and busted their butts this weekend.
