WORBA's Future to be discussed at the Wisconsin Bicycle Federations State Summit April 19th in Madison, WI.

If you are a WORBA member or a WORBA Club please attend the Wisconsin Bicycle Federations State Summit in Madison, WI on April 19th.  The future of WORBA will quite literally be discussed and your input will be critical to the next steps WORBA takes as an organization.
Here is a brief description of the session.
3:45 - 5:00pm: Session 5
Option A: United Mountain Biking in Wisconsin
Location: Capitol Ballroom
Presenters: Gene Roberts - Human Powered Trails, Mike Van Abel - IMBA; Hansi Johnson - IMBA
Summary: The Wisconsin Off-Road Bicycling Association (WORBA) has represented the mountain biking community in advocacy issues, education, and the promotion of environmentally responsible cycling and trail development. WORBA leaders have served as a unified voice for the twenty-one current club chapters and mountain bicyclist however the alliance is feeling the strain of an all-volunteer organization. The International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) has developed a Chapter program to addresses the state of mountain biking at the national and regional level. IMBA Executive Director, Mike Van Able will explain the Chapter Program and the benefits of the program to statewide chapters and bicyclists. A discussion will follow to allow attendees to voice their opinion on the direction of Wisconsin mountain bicycling. 
Who should attend: Wisconsin mountain bike club officers and all mountain biking enthusiasts.
