Well, there is no doubt about it. It has been a really rough, wet and cold spring. People are itching to get out on the trails but due to wet conditions the riding has been dismal to say the least.
However, CAMBA has opened up some limited trails in the Cable Area. This is a welcome sign in a region where many systems are far behind historical opening dates. It is not surprising that CAMBA's trails are opening among the first in the region. The CAMBA trails are built for high drainage and also are built in soil conditions that tend to dry quickly. If you can make it to ride the Namakagon Cluster you could possibly bang out the CAMBA-IMBA Epic around Patsy and Rock Lake to be dedicated the first weekend in June.
