Sun Valley Taps Flow

Sun Valley, Idaho. Collaborations between various agencies, groups, and individuals has brought some new flow trail opportunities to Idaho's Wood River Valley. The BLM Shoshone Field Office led the way with the early springtime construction of Punchline Trail in Croy Canyon - west of Hailey, Idaho. Next came the construction of Forbidden Fruit Trail by the Ketchum Ranger District of the Sawtooth National Forest. Most recently, the Sun Valley Company has hired IMBA's Trail Solutions to help the resort improve its lift-serviced mountain bike opportunities on Bald Mountain. A recent article in the Twin Falls Times-News takes a stab at describing flow trails and how they are being received in Sun Valley.
