Trail Solutions Assists at Outdoor Alliance Partnership Summit

The first-ever Outdoor Alliance Partnership Summit kicked off on the evening of December 6, at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden, CO, and Trail Solutions staff were on hand to present and to network with land managers and other outdoor advocates.

The Outdoor Alliance (OA) is a coalition of six conservation and recreation groups, ranging from hikers and climbers to paddlers and mountain bikers. The two-day meeting brings together field staff from each of the six groups — as well as representatives from state and federal land management agencies — to share stories of successful working relationships from around the United States.

Trail Solutions presented about two important projects for mountain bikers: the Paradise Royale and Sandy Ridge mountain bike trail systems. These systems are great examples of the partnerships between the Bureau of Land Management and IMBA, and have provided innovative, flow-based trails that serve as models for other locations.
